Pitch Report (M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore)

It will be a belter of a wicket and a high-scoring encounter is on the cards. Australia scored 367 runs and Pakistan almost chased it down before a batting collapse in the last match played here. There won’t be much for the bowlers and the batters will dominate the game. The pacers may get some movement with the new ball under lights while the spinners may get some help off the deck in the first innings. Teams will prefer chasing and expect 300+ scores in this game.

Dependable Trio for D3

Rachin Ravindra (New Zealand) [Captain]: Rachin Ravindra has been the best batter for New Zealand in the ODI WC 2023. He has scored runs consistently and will look to do well on the batting paradise wicket in Bangalore. Ravindra will also bowl a few overs and will be our captain pick as well.

Misbah ul Haq (OG- Batter 4) (Pakistan): Rizwan will be Batter 4 for Pakistan. He’s known for his consistency with the bat and will be the backbone of his team in the middle order. He has been in good form and will be an excellent pick on D3 for this game.

Shoaib Akhtar (OG — Bowler 1) (Pakistan): Afridi will be Bowler 1 for Pakistan in this game. He is the joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 16 wickets in 6 games. Afridi picked up 3 wickets in the last game. He is a genuine wicket-taker with the new ball and has also bowled well in the death overs.
