What is Sustainability

To understand sustainability we must go back to a to time earth was created. When we look at earth 5 billion years ago , it was a chaotic planet. Earth had no atmosphere, no oceans, no oxygen. Constant meteor showers , volcanic eruptions, rivers of lava, cyclones, acid rains were all a common sight. When things finally started cooling down over a billion years, there was liquid water. It is at this point first single cellular organism came to being.

But earth was no were near habitable, the odds were against live ,still these microorganism didn't give up hope. Spreading far and wide across the earth life started a war with the planet, eventually making the atmosphere fit for complex multicellular organisms. Still lack of ozone and unforgiving climates pushed life to find shelter in the depths of the oceans. In here life started exploring complex forms.

Over billions of years plants and trees started tapping into sunlight to covert harmful gases into a atmosphere welcoming life. Eventually animal life stepped out of water further acting as a way for plants and trees to spread their in-turn they got food and shelter. This pact lasted over billions of years making the planet greener , peaceful, and finally a way for even complex and intelligent life forms to evolve.

Sustainability is a fine line where life can flourish while keeping the planet peaceful. For earth is not a forgiving planet but was pacified over billions of years by plants and animals to reach this state of peace.
