The transaction volume of ETH Dapps remained constant whereas TRON and EOS suffered a significant drop
The overall performance of ETH Dapps was flat this week. The transaction volume of gambling Dapps grew by 103%, but most of the other categories of Dapps declined. The overall transaction volume rose slightly by 0.25% to $56.7 million.
TRON Dapps’ trading volume fell 26% this week. The data showed that the gambling Dapps’ circulation, the majority of TRON Dapps, dropped by 30%. Although the marketplace Dapp such as TRXMarket performed well, the overall transaction volume fell to $54.7 million, surpassed by ETH Dapps.
As of the transaction volume of EOS Dapps, the game Dapps rose by 228%, whereas the market-dominating gambling Dapps fell 18%, causing the overall transaction volume to fall 16% to $130 million.
TRON Dapps’ WAU about to surpass EOS
In terms of weekly active users, TRON’s growth momentum is still strong, going up by 12% this week to 170,301 active users. The USDT-TRON stable coin released this week has brought more incentives to Dapp developers to attract users and seems to be an opportunity to welcome more users and funds for TRON Dapp ecosystem. EOS Dapp active users grew slightly by 5% this week, with a total of 189,401 active users. ETH Dapps showed negative growth this week, went down 8%, to 40,173 active users.
User acquisition being tough
From the perspective of new user acquisition, three major Dapp ecosystems went down this week. Among 3 of them, EOS Dapps suffered the most. It received a 19% drop and acquired only 39,529 new users. As for TRON, despite that TRXMarket was very attractive to new users, the overall new user acquisition saw a 16% drop and acquired 48,991 unseen users. On the other hand, ETH received an 11% drop and gained 18,133 new users interacted with smart contracts.
