December is National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month! Both alcohol and illicit or misused prescription drugs are substances that reduce the function of the brain, impairing thinking, reasoning, judgment, reaction time and muscle coordination. These abilities are necessary in order to operate a vehicle safety.

With the holiday season bringing much joy and happiness in celebrations with family and friends, it also brings a tragic increase in impaired driving occurrences.
