Yield Farming $RAVEN — Just Kidding!

Raven Protocol is building a network of compute nodes for the purposes of AI/ML training where speed is the key.

Dear Raven Protocol Community.

We have received a lot of questions from the community regarding staking and rewards. This is definitely coming and details will be shared this quarter. The Raven Distribution Framework was released in beta and it is time to start warming up the network of compute nodes.

The team is finalizing the economics and incentives that align with the community and long term goals of Raven Protocol. In the short term, we understand the community is excited and want to start putting their $RAVEN to work.

While this is not defi, yield farmers can farm rewards in $RAVEN. Our approach to decentralized and distributed AI training has no dependency on hardware. Anyone can run a node from their browser to contribute AI compute to the Raven network.

Staking and governance will be rolled out in multiple phases. This allows us to iterate on the incentives as it aligns with our community, needs of our customers, launch of Binance Smart Chain as $RAVEN is BEP-2, and growth of the Raven network.

The first phase of staking will be announced in Q3 2020.
