Kim Kardashian would really prefer it if you didn’t call her a feminist, even though she totally believes in feminism… apparently.
Interesting.
At a conference last week, Kim said she doesn’t consider herself a feminist because she’s not a ‘free the nipple’ kind of girls, BUT, she does love and support Women . Riiiight, ok.
Once everyone got tweeting about her weird claim she then decided to elaborate on it more via a blog post on her website titled, “Why I Don’t Label Myself A Feminist.”
Kim stated that while she understands why so many choose to call her a feminist — and while she definitely believes in ‘feminism’ — she just doesn’t feel comfortable with the label.
It’s simply a personal choice that I don’t like the idea of being labeled. I’ll always fight for women’s rights. Always. I support women to the fullest.
But, at the end of the day, no one should feel pressured to be labeled as anything just because they believe in certain things and support certain values or ideals.

The feminist label is beginning to get a lot of negative associations. There’s this huge perception that Women who are feminists are man-haters and some crazy Women that go around airing their rights to everything.

If all ‘feminists’ want is equality and fair treatment along side men, maybe we should stop labelling ourselves and making ourselves stand out even more. Just own the fact you’re a Woman and get everything you want in life without having to label yourself a feminist. It can be done.
