Not Such An Angel? Amber Heard Arrested For Domestic Violence!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, chances are you will have read the divorce stories and domestic abuse scandal between Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and soon to be Ex- Wife Amber Heard.

Here’s a recap of the facts as well as the new evidence bought to light…

• Johnny, 52 and Amber , 30 announced their plans to divorce last month due to Amber being fed up with Depp’s out of control drinking , accusing him of domestic violence and fears for her safety.

According to the Gaurdian:

In her statement, Heard said that “during the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me. I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him.”

Depp’s lawyers have responded by claiming that “Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.

• At the time, due to amber not signing a pre-nup, she was set to get around $2o million dollars of Johnny’s $400 million fortune.
• A restraining order was granted by the court to prevent Johnny from being anywhere near Amber.
• Later the court found that Johnny was NOT GUILTY of domestic abuse towards Amber.

But now there’s a new twist in the saga…

Turns out that during Ambers previous relationship with Tasya Van Ree, Amber was actually arrested for putting hands on her then Girlfriend.

According to law enforcement sources and documents, Amber and Tasya van Ree got in an argument on September 14, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm, which upset Tasya and triggered the arrest.

Amber was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. Her mug shot was taken and she appeared in court the following day.

Although the charges were taken no further, the judge warned Amber that she would not be ‘off the hook’ for another 2 years and during this time prosecutors could re-consider the case. (Basically giving her a warning to behave)

So who is the real victim here?

Just remember, there’s 2 sides to every story, and Johnny is yet to speak out.
