In this day and age a home office is an absolute must for some of us entrepreneurs, but getting your work space right is something some of us can find rather difficult. We can end up with a cluttered, disorganised storage room (I speak from experience), which is never good for productivity and is an inducer of procrastination, and stress levels being ever so slightly elevated. Below are some top tips to help you create your perfect home office space and optimise your work performance.
A dedicated work space
Not all of us will have a whole room for our home office, so even if it is a corner of a room make that space dedicated just to your work/business so you maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Create your mood/vision board and have it visible.

Office Furniture and Essentials
A reliable computer and internet connection. A sturdy desk, supportive chair and a good storage/ filing unit.

Good lighting
Good natural lighting helps keep us on the go and a good lamp helps us when we are working in the later hours.

Keep It Simple
Don’t over complicate your workload or create unnecessary files and systems that in the end are only going to cause more harm than good. Have a simple calendar and to do list to assist you with the daily running of your business.
