Shira Nathan joins Rayon, as Solution Specialist

We are thrilled to welcome Shira Nathan to Rayon. Shira is an interior architect, who previously worked at Yoav Messer Architects. Shira lives today in Tel Aviv!

We sat down with her to get her take on joining the company…

Of all places, why join Rayon?

S.N: After obtaining professional experience in the interior design field, I was looking for a new challenge, one where I could use my current skills but take them to the next level. Namely, I wanted to work towards solving pain points in the process of space design — and that’s what made Rayon’s vision so appealing to me.

Democratizing space design and creating a tool that can have a real impact in the design world — Rayon has a spot-on target full of potential, and I’m so excited to be a part of this vision.

You are an Interior Architect, and you are joining Rayon as a Solution Specialist; why this choice?

S.N: Being an interior architect, I understand the process of space design end to end. As a Solution Specialist, I can use my existing knowledge and dedicate it to a new direction: grasping the problem of a Rayon user in a profound way and, therefore, helping provide the right solution. Hopefully, I will be able to not only assist Rayon users, but also to help the team improve our product to ensure the best possible fit to our user base.

Any passion besides your work?

S.N: Living in Tel Aviv, I really enjoy the proximity to the beach — and I have been playing semi-professional beach volleyball for the last ten years!

Last but not least: What’s the best thing you’ve ever designed?

S.N: During my career, I have been part of international teams designing boutique hotels in unique preservation buildings in Tel Aviv — where each project is B — spoke. On a smaller scale, I have designed a 3D-printed jewelry collection with a tribal/modern concept.
