How our life change after Covid-19 Pandemic

Probably, we will remember 2020 as Covid-19 year. It is strongly possible we will live under threat from coronavirus. I haven’t seen or heard about something is huge upended around the world like Coronavirus. All most of business activities and individual life are suspend or halt. And so sadly, there are many people died and infected by coronavirus.

Recently one good news is started Covid-19 vaccine’s inoculation in some countries. Probably, many countries will start Covid-19 vaccine’s inoculation at 2021. Until now, Covid-19 vaccine is only game changer.

After Covid-19 pandemic, how change our life? we can back to normal like before the pandemic? In my opinion, that answer is ‘NO’. Of course, we can live normally in many ways but in the post pandemic, there are many things will change and we need to adjust a new circumstance. I’m not sure my opinions are right or not because I’m not specialist at economy or futurology. I just write my opinions.

1. Change perspective of Travel (Especially business trip).

Due to the Coronavirus, it is need to time to recover Travel industry. I think that travel industry is one of the huge bad impacted industries by Covid-19. Even though many countries are progress Covid-19 inoculation to their nation people in 2021, probably many people unwilling travel to other countries. And almost of countries are try to check more strict to people who are come from abroad.

And I think that business trip demand will decrease compare before the Covid-19 pandemic because many companies and workers are become familiar to use online meeting tools such as Zoom, Google meet, Skype and so on. Moreover, some companies are become thinking about business trip are really necessary or unnecessary and some business meeting available replace online meeting. Actually, in our business trips, there are many times are wasted during the transportation such as air plain, train or car. Online meeting will be replace many of business trip.

2. Attack from huge amount of relief fund around the world.

In 2020, many countries are progress relief fund policy to save the companies and people that are struggling to survive during the pandemic. That amount is incredible. This relief policy is necessary to the companies and nation people. But as so much money has release in the market, it is strongly possible to become a bubble and it is seems like bomb that it is not strange whenever will break. Also, it is need to many times to many companies will recover their business like before the pandemic.

If bubble will break in next year, it will be more hardest time to us more then ‘Subprime mortgage crisis’. Many companies and people will suffer by crisis and it is possible more difficult time to us. The more problem is that it is difficult to find solution because already many governments are spent their funds during the pandemic. Probably, many government face situation for difficult prepare financial stimulus packages.

If my projections will become occur, it will be most difficult time to all of us.

3. More and more try and adoption online tools in our life.

During the Pandemic, many of us are use online meeting tools to communicate in the workplace, education space and individual life. And we become more familiar to use online tools and realize online meeting tools can be replace many of face to face meetings. Especially in the workplace, many companies are adopt online tools into their business and probably this trend will be increase after pandemic. If the productive is maintain, work from home style is good for both companies and employees. Because, for employees, they can save time for commute time and then they can spend their time to family, friends or individual development. For company, it is possible save the management money. It is not need office space, furniture for their full employees. And company can save the electric cost.

But there are bad news. Above trend are strongly possible will lead to increase freelancer job. More and more companies are try to hire with part time workers, because many companies are recognized work from home style is working efficiently during the pandemic. (Of course, all of companies and industries are suit this case) In the post pandemic, many companies are try to save the cost and willing to more consider about hire part time workers. I’m not sure this workplace style will good for companies and workers. For high talented person, this work environment will help to them because they can earn the more money then before. But if not, it will be more hard time to survive. So, in my opinion, we need to think about how we work, how we have more competitive abilities in an entirely different way.

Except above, there are many things will change in the post pandemic. Probably, this changes are under going now. We need to thinking in an different way than before. The world, workplace environment and our life will change fast than we can imagine. I hope that I can communicate with various people about post Covid-19 pandemic.
