I spoke about this on Capitol Hill at an event focused on the expected benefits of solar energy in the Caribbean. At a cost of a million dollars per mile, resource-strapped areas in the Caribbean can’t afford to build a power grid. No power grid, no power. And no power means life stops when the sun goes down.
