TL;DR — We bring a quick recap of major updates from the world of Razor for October. The updates include bug fixes and security enhancements for Razor Network smart contracts and new features to RazorScan beta and Razor-Go. We have also launched new $RAZOR farming opportunities on Dfyn DEX with more rewards than last time.
Hello, Razor fam!
Technical updates and bug fixes have kept us busy over the month of October. Our smart contracts are now more secure, and RazorScan beta is cooler and more useful than ever. Razor-Go also comes with a host of new features.
We have also launched two new $RAZOR farms on Dfyn DEX, where you can earn a passive income simply by staking your crypto funds.

Smart Contracts — Razor Network
We have made a new release (v0.1.7) for Razor smart contracts. This release includes significant bug fixes and security enhancements. Data from Razor’s decentralized Oracle network is now much more secure than before. In the future, we will keep on adding such security enhancements and other technical improvements.
We have also upgraded our delegator contracts that the clients can use to fetch the price feed results into their web 3.0 Applications. Developers can simply inherit the Delegator contract using different methods, such as getJob, getCollections, getResult, and much more.
We will soon release a complete guide on how to integrate Razor Network Oracle to Web3 applications. This will help our community members to use Razor’s decentralized data feed in their DApps in a seamless manner.

RazorScan Beta — An Explorer
We have added a new feature to the beta version of the RazorScan. In order to support the latest release in Razor smart contracts, we have also added power and weightage for the jobs and collections. The weightage will define the trustworthiness of the URL or API endpoint from which the result is being fetched.
All the aggregation will happen off-chain depending upon the aggregation method. At present, two aggregation methods are supported — weighted medians and weighted means. In time, many more new futures will be added to RazorScan beta.
Razor-Go — A Command Line Interface
We have constantly been working on improving the user experience of the Razor-Go nodes. A lot of additional commands have been added, such as new jobs and the ability to update
the endpoints of the collections.
We have also made significant progress on the Razor test suite. Many test cases have been added for every command to ensure that the quality of the Razor-Go node is best-in-class.

$RAZOR farming opportunities on Dfyn DEX
We have launched two new farms on Dfyn DEX on 7th October after the resounding success of our initial $RAZOR farms.
In September, we had launched two exciting farms for $RAZOR holders on Polygon (erstwhile Matic) Network, in collaboration with Dfyn Network, a DEX powered by Polygon.
This time around, the $RAZOR farms offer double rewards for the RAZOR-ETH pair compared to last time. Total farming rewards are 360,000 $RAZOR and 12,000 $DFYN tokens, split into the $RAZOR-$ETH and $RAZOR-$DFYN farming pools.
· $RAZOR-$ETH Ecosystem Farm with 240K $RAZOR reward (up from 120K $RAZOR last time).
· $RAZOR-$DFYN Dual Farm with 120K $RAZOR + 12K $DFYN reward.
The current APY of both the farms is in triple-digit percentages.
