Razor Network is proud to partner with Elastic blockchain Skale to provide fast & secure Oracle solution for DApp development

SKALE is an Ethereum-compatible decentralized “elastic” blockchain network, with a leaderless consensus algorithm designed to run on an uncapped number of independent nodes. Elastic blockchains like SKALE are high-performance, configurable, and use the latest breakthroughs in modern cryptography to provide provable security.

SKALE uses a modular protocol to allow developers to easily provision highly configurable blockchains, which provide the benefits of decentralization without compromising on computation, storage, or security. Using this technology, DApp developers can speed up their DApps and smart contracts effortlessly with just a few lines of additional code. Over 48 DApps have already signed up for SKALE’s Innovator Program, including a number of games and content streaming services.

DApps developed on SKALE’s infrastructure require access to trusted and real-time data from the external world. This service is provided by agents known as “oracles”. Unfortunately, most oracles in operation today are centralized data providers, which are usually single-point failure systems prone to data hacks. In other words, neither is the data reliable nor is it guaranteed to be real-time.

This is where Razor Network enters the picture. Razor is a blockchain platform that connects smart contracts with real-world data in a fast and secure manner, through its decentralized oracle service. Developed on Ethereum, Razor’s end-to-end decentralized oracle network has no centralized bottlenecks and is secured by a highly efficient Proof of Stake network with strict penalties for misbehavior.

In the words of Hrishikesh Huilgolkar, CEO of Razor Oracle Network,

“SKALE uses state of the art blockchain technologies and approaches like BLS rollups, randomness rotation and incentives, and SGX to allow near-instant and low-cost transactions on Ethereum. What’s even better is that DApp developers can use their existing tools and migrate to SKALE quickly, with nothing new to learn. We deployed our application in no time and are proud to provide our decentralized oracle services to the applications on this platform.”

Christine Perry, VP Solutions Engineering, SKALE Labs, said,

“Expanding the SKALE ecosystem to include partners like Razor Network who care deeply about the developer experience is incredibly exciting. As a decentralized oracle, Razor will help developers deliver external data to their smart contracts quickly and securely, dovetailing nicely with SKALE’s ability to provide highly configurable Ethereum as a service blockchains”

DApps developers who use decentralized oracle solutions today have to compromise on their applications in terms of speed, gas fee, and privacy concern. This is not a sustainable solution for the developer ecosystem. The Razor-Skale infrastructure will provide developers with the necessary tools to build highly scalable, secure, and high-performance DApps.
