Razor Node Update v1.1.0: Release Highlights
We are pleased to provide an overview of the key features and improvements that have been incorporated into the latest Razor Node Update v1.1.0. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the functionality of the platform, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience for our users. Let’s take a closer look at the specifics of the changes implemented in this release.
1. Authenticated Data Feeds Support
Users can now fetch API keys from environment variables for authenticated data feeds, allowing for more robust and reliable data feeds.
2. POST Request Support
The update brings in support for data feeds using POST requests, expanding compatibility for a wider range of data feeds.
3. Version Number in Logs
For enhanced transparency and debugging, the version number is now included in the logs, aiding in quicker issue identification.
4. Dependency Updates
The platform is updated to the latest versions of go-ethereum, go, and other dependencies, ensuring compatibility with the latest developments.
5. GasLimitOverride Modification
The default value and functionality of gasLimitOverride have been modified to provide consistency in case of gas estimation failure.
6. Alternate Provider Improvement in Configuration
Nil values for the alternate provider in the config are no longer supported, contributing to a cleaner configuration setup. If a user wants to set an alternate provider in config, it should be a non empty and valid URL string.
7. Uniswap V2 and V3 Support
Support is added for data feeds from Uniswap V2 and V3, allowing a wider range of token price feeds that are available on DEX’s.
