This week on RCN

RCN is now part of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance

We’re super happy to announce that we are now official members of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance (EEA), joining over 300 businesses that are building enterprise-focused distributed ledger technology (DLT), compatible with the Ethereum blockchain.

The EEA is an industry-supported organization that aims to build, promote and support Ethereum-based technology best practices, open standards, and open-source reference architectures.

“The RCN team is really proud to take part in this consortium. As EEA members, we hope to build a constructive and creative environment where enterprises from all, industries -such as Microsoft, Intel, Deloitte, Mastercard and Cisco- can work together into innovative worldwide solutions for us all.” — stated David Garcia (SVP and partner at RCN).

The EEA helps to expand Ethereum’s reach into an enterprise-grade technology, providing research and development in key areas as privacy, scalability and security. The organization also develops open industry standards and facilitate collaboration among its members, providing insight to the future of the Ethereum network.

In the last few months, Hewlett Packard, Sberbank, and the oil and gas supply chain management platform PetroBLOQ have joined the EEA portfolio.

Coinfabrik’s Basic Cosigner smart contract security audit is ready

The Beta version of our Basic Cosigner smart contract (developed a few weeks ago and available at GitHub) has been through a security audit by the blockchain development company Coinfabrik.

You can now find the audit results in their blog: https://blog.coinfabrik.com/rcn-basiccosigner-smart-contract-security-audit/.

The Coinfabrik team complimented the code quality and pointed out that all issues detected were already fixed by the RCN team.

2017 recap

We wish you all had a great Holiday season!

Just a brief 2017 recap:

We started our project at the beginning of the year, then we launched our token sale, and after that we deployed the first reference implementation of the RCN protocol with the RCN exchange. We also signed partnerships with several leading Blockchain companies like: Huobi, Shapeshift, Exchange Union, Kyber.Network, Decentraland and OKLink.

It’s been a really interesting year for RCN! Thank you all once again for your support in each one of these steps.

What’s next

We are now working to meet all of these upcoming announcements in 2018:

  • New implementations of the RCN protocol and GitHub documentation.
  • Growing our development and marketing team.
  • Full RCN protocol stack deployment by Q2 2018.
  • New network agents, such as wallet providers and credit exchanges, will join RCN to increase the loans’ volume.
  • Ensure a high RCN token liquidity (more exchange listings to come!) in order to build the proper functions of the network.
  • Research and testing with different Blockchain-based technologies from a scalability approach.

Stay tuned!

Never miss one of RCN’s updates!
