Welcome to the second edition of RCRDSHP Liner Notes! These notes are where we’ll be updating the community on new features, bug fixes, and gameplay. Check out the new features that shipped in November.

🗃 The roll out of Identity Verification / KYC (Know your client)
The verification process, aka “Know Your Client” ensures that users associated with an account are who they say they are, which is critical for community integrity — and a prerequisite for being able to build Withdrawals.

🔥 Burning
The Age of Fire Begins! Players now have the ability to burn collectables to liberate their coin value. This is the first step towards having useful in-game currency (coins) and towards being able to craft new collectables from old ones.

🏅 Leaderboard & Coin Balance
Our first Burn Challenge (Berlin Challenge: part II — Mythical Experience) introduced coin balance and leaderboards to RCRDSHP. You’ll see a lot more of these in the future.

🎶 Improvements to the Audio player
Mostly to do with the Play Queue and more easily being able to listen to all the music in your library (without having to go into individual collectibles).

🎙️ Discord Integration and the `#get-it-real-time` channel.
Have you ever wanted to know what’s trading on the marketplace right now? Put the Walkie Talkie card in your hand and hear all about it on the `#get-it-real-time` channel.

🤛 Wristbands for Priority Access
A number of artists and festivals, like A State of Trance, The Scumfrog, and TheFatRat have airdropped wristband collectibles to their fans in order to grant them Priority Access to exclusive drops.

🚛 We moved! (off of shopify)
A gargantuan effort (a bit ahead of schedule), but we’re taking our destiny — and search UI — into our own hands.

🔎 My Collection is now searchable and sortable
Remember the bad old days when you had to browse through pages and pages to find that one card you were looking for in your collection? Me neither!

🔩 Improved performance of minting
Minting performance, improved randomization, and info on how many packs will be sold.

⏱️ Various & Sundry performance enhancements
Enhancements to do with all sorts of thrilling topics like CDNs, lazy loading, and Retina resolution (among other things).

Updated our FAQs
To continue to make our platform accessible to music fans everywhere we are constantly updating and modifying our FAQ’s page. This month you’ll find new entries about serial numbers and their relationship to packs, and new guidelines on RCRDSHP staff trading on the platform.
