Welcome to the first edition of RCRDSHP Liner Notes! We’ll be regularly updating the community on new features, bug fixes, and gameplay. Without further ado, check out some new features that shipped this month:
- New coat of paint on the Home page 💐
Can you believe this homepage has been out since before launch? We were back in stealth mode way back then! There’s more planned, but for now enjoy the visual refresh. - Users can now Log In via Discord ⌨️
Previously you’ve been able to log in via Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Email. As of this release, you can log in with your Discord account as well. - Back-to-back pack sales are now slowed down, so more people have a chance to buy. ⏳
We’ve been blown away by how quickly packs have been flying off the shelves, but that small window of purchase availability makes it tough for new players to join the game. To make things more fair and let newcomers have a chance to get packs, we have added a cool-down period after each purchase.
- RCRDSHP In-store credit is now live! You can get started by 1) heading to the marketplace or 2) going to your balance (via your profile, found in the avatar menu at the top-right of the screen).
- Users can spend proceeds (via RCRDSHP Credit) 💸
We’re still working on the ability to withdraw funds from your RCRDSHP balance (stay tuned!), but in the meantime we’ve added In-store Credit. These one-time codes allow you to use your balance to purchase packs during a Drop. In the marketplace, In-store Credit works just like any other payment method. - Users can again make purchases with Crypto (via RCRDSHP Credit)
Crypto purchases were a problem: packs would sell out before a crypto purchase cleared the blockchain, leading to failed buys and wasted gas fees. Wanna spend crypto on RCRDSHP? Use it to buy In-store Credit, which will be instantly available during drops. - Users now receive a better confirmation email when making purchases 📧
We’ve revised our confirmation emails to feature more relevant information when you sell a collectible. - Users can now view collectibles as a list 📜
It can be tough to view a large collection in gallery mode. Try list view instead! - Users can now see Analytics screen 📊
The new Analytics screen exposes detailed information about Card Definitions to help you better understand the marketplace and ecosystem. (Users with Extraordinary Insight in-hand have the potential to see even deeper.) - Players can now put collectibles in their hand ✋🏻
This is a big one: drag cards into your hand to activate their utility. Which cards have utility? Conducting extraordinarily insightful experiments is a great way to start this analysis. To add cards to your hand, drag the card from the Collection screen to the glowing purple RCRDSHP logo on the bottom-right corner of the screen. To remove cards from your hand, drag them back to their home slot (or ‘Shift+Click’ on the card while it’s in-hand).
