RCRDSHP Artifact Spotlight Series
Today’s Magic Island Records drop contains two artifacts with completely different purposes in the RCRDSHP game. This blog post introduces those artifacts. In the future, we’ll work hard to publish blog posts like this one for all artifacts, including ones that are already in circulation.
The Promoter
As we formally announce role-playing aspects of the RCRDSHP game later this year, the ‘Promoter’ and other similar artifacts will probably be recategorized as characters.
Equipping character cards in your hand (or burning them to your profile) will give you capabilities that are unique to that role. In the case of the ‘Promoter’, those capabilities all have to do with using RCRDSHP publicity features on behalf of the talent and events that you personally want to promote.
Before then, the ‘Promoter’ will soon unlock a referral code system that allows you to earn coins when newly verified players buy packs via your unique affiliate links.
The Bathroom Attendant
They keep the bathroom clean and stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. But most importantly, they are the first responders when you need help and your crew is nowhere to be found. Whether that’s helping you find the toilet while in the depths of a K-hole or holding your hair back while you vomit, the lowly bathroom valet can sometimes be your best friend. Tip them generously!
We feel it’s our duty at RCRDSHP to honor those not often recognized in our scene, and that’s why we’re giving our ‘Bathroom Attendant’ card extra special utility. You’ll have to tip them to find out what it is, but it’s not hyperbole to guess that the lowly ‘Bathroom Attendant’ artifact (especially this low-mint count special edition) will someday be one of the most in-demand card designs on RCRDSHP.
