Rtr. Chathura Jayendra

Rtr. Chathura Jayendra, an energetic member of the Rotaract Club of University Alumni joined the Rotaract movement with the enthusiasm to get involved with volunteering. He who is driven with the passion of working with others in order to enhance the life conditions of the less- advantaged, he undertook a number of sustainable initiatives which became successful. Being a member of the Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, he opened up a wide scope of opportunities and exposure which ultimately helped him explore his potentials and discover the talents within him.

He was a student of Sri Sumangala College, Panadura, who then followed his first degree in Biological Science from University of Colombo. He is highly interested in photography since he has served as the official photographer of Rotaract District 3220 and Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo during 2014/15. He too has been awarded Most popular photographer of Colombo Beacon for the year 2015. Despite his love for photography, he too is an energetic sportsperson who plays rugby, boxing and swimming.Rtr.
