Google to Boost News Stories in Search Results for Paying Subscribers
Google will be boosting news articles in search results for individuals who have paid subscriptions to these publications. Bloomberg reported that Google is making these efforts to assist publishers with finding and retaining paying subscribers. Furthermore, Google will share search data showing publishers who is most likely to pay for content.

Google Adds Title Tags to Image Search Results
Google will be adding captions to thumbnails in image search results. The captions will consist of the page title where the image is published, which means captions can be optimized by modifying title tags. Google says this should assist searchers by adding more context to what an image is about. It appears that the character limit on a page titles is 35 characters, but Google did not provide any specifics.

Google Lets Users Search Through Reviews of Business Listings
Google Maps for iOS to include a search feature allowing users to filter reviews for specific keywords. If one wanted to know about the fries at Shake Shack, a simple search query can be made for ‘fries’ and Google Maps will pull all mentions of it.
