From concerts to art exhibits, Downtown Orlando and the surrounding neighborhoods are always buzzing with events and fun activities — if you think otherwise, you’re not looking in the right places or you’re living under a rock.

Athena NextGen’s Meet & Greet Mixer

Ladies, if you’re looking for a solid community of like-minded women to connect with, then look no further than Athena Orlando. This women’s leadership group is dedicated to serving professional women leaders across all generations. If you want to learn more, definitely make it to their Meet & Greet tomorrow night, February 7th. RSVP here. It’s at our new office, even more reason to come. 😉

Valentine’s Day Beer and Doughnuts Pairing

On February 11th you can catch me at Orlando Brewing for their Valentine’s Day Beer and Doughnuts Pairing — at $16 per person, you’ll enjoy beer and doughnuts that are locally crafted. OrlandoBrewing.com has the link to purchase tix.

African American Read-In

February is Black History Month! One of the coolest places to scope out (free) events is the Orange County Library. On February 12th, they are hosting an African American Read-In, celebrating African American Literature at the Downtown location. Visit OCLS.info/black-history-month to see all related events!

React Orlando Meetup

February 16th, we will play host as the new location for React Orlando’s meetup. This group is dedicated to deep dives into ReactJS and React Native and is open to all, from beginners to experts. This month is focusing on VR. Their meetup page has all the information you’ll need to join us!

Orlando Chili Cook-off

Orlando Weekly hosts their annual Orlando Chili Cook-off on February 18th at Festival Park in the ever-lovely Milk District. Check out orlandochilicookoff.com to learn more and get your grub on — fun fact: you get to vote on your favorite chili!

Dribbble Meetup

February 23rd, we will play host to some of the most cutting edge designers in Orlando. This monthly networking opportunity to meet and mingle with designers in the industry is one you will not want to miss. This month we’ll be going through SVG Animations with Nick Walsh from EnvyLabs! Check out the invite for more information.

The Dinner Party Project Couple’s Dinner

February 26th, we’re sponsoring The Dinner Party Project’s Couple’s Dinner on The Balcony. If you have not heard of TDPP, what are you waiting for?! It’s only the best way to step out of your comfort zone, meet new folks, and enjoy incredible food from a local chef. I’ll do you solid and include the link for you: thedinnerpartyproject.co. We hope to see you around the table!

Downtown Food & Wine Fest

Orlando foodies are set to come out in droves on February 25th and 26th for Downtown Food & Wine Fest. Hundreds of local food, drink, and artisan vendors for you to peruse! Tickets and information here.

A Day on the Ave

The Morse Museum is celebrating their 75th anniversary with free museum admission the entire month of February. Make it a quintessential Park Avenue day by doing the Scenic Boat Tour (if you haven’t already, you’re missing out!) and end it with dinner and drinks on the Ave. MorseMuseum.org has details on this, plus info on the exhibits on display.
