Each month we’re taking on a challenge to design an alternative movie poster to a film we enjoyed watching while briefly talking about what we did and didn’t like about the film (without spoilers).

This month’s feature is “Get Out” by Jordan Peele. You might remember Jordan for his comedy show “Key & Peele”. Going into this movie, it would be good to forget everything you know about Peele from his previous works. This movie is a roller coaster of tension and constant trope tackling. It subverts the genre at every turn and keeps you glued to your seat.

I personally loved this movie, I would grade it very highly and think it’s one of the best films of this year so far.

My poster was designed with one of the key props in the movie. I won’t give anything away but if you’ve seen the movie you definitely know this prop and it’s importance in the film. I liked approaching this design with a minimalist perspective.

If you haven’t seen the film I’d definitely recommend it.

Look out for next month’s feature!
