This month in design has been finger-lickin’ good.
FIRST OFF! —KFC’s animated spot by BUCK
BUCK seriously killed it with this. The over all aesthetic is spot on and works pretty much perfectly with the VO and KFC brand. Loving the simplicity in the color palette and subtle texture.
The Colonel would be proud.
Tad Carpenter —Gig Posters
Tad is an incredible artist, whose work can be found all over the internet and the physical world. His work ranges from many different variations of print and web. But today I want to highlight some of his work centered around music and musical events.
Some Studio Work!
We recently put out a photo series from a studio session with our Orlando Copywriter’s Meetup. The photos were used to create a visual identity for characters the copywriters would then write a short story about. These photos were taken on a dark grey backdrop with two strobe lights. One strobe was above and on camera right, while the other strobe was mid-height and camera left. The left strobe was used for rim light and created separation from the subject and background.
