Every Friday in the Big Vision office we like to spend some time working on ourselves and reflecting on the inspiration that helps us grow. We huddle up and share links we’ve found, then discuss what we like the most and what we could pull from these different ideas.

We have compiled a list of our favorite links from the last month to help you get inspired. If any of these move you like they moved us, lets talk about collaborating on a similar project. Enjoy!

Adidas — Break Free

Student filmmaker, Eugen Merher.

This inspirational video follows the story of a 79-year-old man, Karl, discovering his old Adidas running shoes. We watch him push past the obstacles in his way—namely the nursing home staff—to leave the boredom behind and finally, you guessed it, break free.

A Movie Poster A Day

Pete Majarich

These movie poster re-designs, each with intense creativity and intention were a huge inspiration to our team, especially our Creatives. The imagination and talent behind these posters is incredible, and a challenge we in the Big Vision office are interested in taking on. Check out our first poster re-design here!

The Conditioned

Facebook Stories

This beautiful story of a man and his poems are everything you need in an inspirational video. Down to the way the story was shot and told, it keeps you wanting more, wanting to learn his tale.

The 20 Habits of Eventual Millionaires

This infographic got our noggins churning. It’s always interesting to read up on tips and tricks to becoming a millionaire 😉.

The Fisherman

Luke Saunders

This fun little story peaked our creative interest. The color palette, texturing and hand-drawn look inspired our creatives to take a step out of their comfort zones and try some other ideas in their work.

Fired Up

Dan Fipphen

This short animated film tells the story of Former President Obama’s famed “Fired up, ready to go” chant. You’ll definitely be inspired by this video and maybe even acquire it as your own mantra!

Preposterous

Florent Porta

We love when something can make us laugh. This short is about absurd things that just don’t make sense, but will definitely put a smile on your face!

Spraycation 2016

Ricardo Gonzalez

This collection of street art done in different cities in 2016 is all vivid colors and bright, beautiful typography. The styles and hues were a huge, very cool, inspiration to our team!

bird

Jonathan Quintana

What inspires us so much about bird, is the clean, minimalistic design, and how they’re able to do so much with so little. It’s not everyday that you get the opportunity to be so minimal, but when you do, this is a great way to get inspired!

Empty

Dustyroom

This simply designed idea was created by a Ukrainian developer team Dustyroom. They created the game in a 72 hour window for a game competition. The theme was “one room.” The design, flow, and idea behind the game was very inspiring and got our noggins churning.

Begin Your Own Tradition

Peter Philippe

This short film caught the interest of our copywriting team with the way the product was woven into the storyline. The attention to emotion was well developed and started some deep conversations in the office.

The Tale of a Typeface Found

Syracuse University

This story instantly appealed to our videographers as a unique way to showcase a client. Not only did our Creatives enjoy learning a bit about fonts, but it sparked a new viewpoint in client stories and set the bar for how to showcase a project like a pro.

The Beginners Mind

This article gave us a new perspective and the idea to focus through a different mental lens, if you will. Read the article and try to look through a new point of view!
