BDW: A Look At Where We Are

It is hard to believe that it is already spring break. Our time at BDW has flown by so far. It has been full of learning, troubleshooting, and laughs. And, looking back on what we have covered so far, I know that we have learned more than we even realize.

At BDW we move fast.

We get briefs, work for two days straight, and then pitch. However, recently without having design sprints, the speed has turned down a bit. It has allowed us to take some time to care for ourselves, rest up, and prepare for the next wave of work. This break has also given us time to prepare for the rest of BDW: startup.

Our group has been working hard to lay a solid foundation of ground rules and roles so that we can be as productive as possible in the weeks and months to come. Our idea for startup stems from all of our experiences traveling around the world. As a team, we have collectively visited 60 different countries in 6 contents! All of us share the same passion for finding authentic experiences when we travel, and our startup hopes to help other travelers find truly local experiences as well. Though we are still in the very early stages, I am excited for what the next five months of hard work and determination will present!

Be sure to follow our publication re-write and learn more about all of the startup ideas and many other things that BDW students are working on!

I am currently a student in BDW’s 50 week program. Learn more about the BDW program.
