DIVE IN.

You’ve been up on that diving board
Making sure that its nice and straight.
You’ve made sure that its not too slick.
You’ve made sure it can stand the weight.
You’ve made sure that the spring is tight.
You’ve made sure that the cloth won’t slip
You’ve made sure that it bounces right,
And that your toes can get a grip —
And you’ve been up there since half past five
Doin’ everything…but DIVE. -Shel Silverstein

Something that is instilled in our brains from the moment we step through BDW is, do the work. Get it done, and iterate, and pivot, and change. If you sit around just thinking and talking about it you will never know what it could be. If you keep delaying and going in circles, you are avoiding making a decision, and you will never get anywhere. Never stop moving.

You may have the most innovated idea out there, but if you don’t dive in and start to see it through, it isn’t a good idea, it is just a thought. It will become something you just pitched to your buddies that one time, something you will talk about 5 years from now saying “what if”, and something that could have changed the road you are on.

Dive in. Do the work. You have nothing to loose.
