Effugium

One of my classes has a heavy focus on entrepreneurship. We embard on a one year project that started with identifiying a problem and will end with a functional prototype design that we will pitch to potential investors. The problem that my group identified is one that is near and dear to my heart, that of making new, lasting relationships as an adult. Our solution to that problem is one that I think would both work to bring people together and be a viable business.

Public Event

On April 27th, we are hosting our Beta opening event which will consist of our sixth prototype followed by a night out at a local bar. Spots are limited but all are welcome. If you’re intersted visit our website and sign up on our Public Event page.

Next Steps

Over the summer we will have our second Beta Opening Event. However, as we continue to develop Effugium it has started to become more than a project for me. It is something that I am passionate about and that I believe I could be succesful with. As such, I am considering pouring myself into this project after school has ended and transform it from a school project to a real start-up company. My next objective is to figure out how to do that.
