Here are the lists of design resources that I’ve collected from Instagram, Pinterest, and Google.

  1. Ideas, inspirations
  2. Photography
  3. Icons
  4. Colors
  5. Typeface / fonts
  6. Mock ups
  7. Additional resources (Patterns, Illustrations, UI animation ideas etc.)

1. Ideas, inspirations

When I need inspirations for branding, UI, portfolios, or even general look and feel, I go to Behance, Dribble, and Pinterest. Awwwards highlights curated websites based on design, usability, creativity, and contents. But for me, I get inspirations of functionality and layouts.

Icons are the second most important elements that I use most often. Not only they look simple, but it highlights the story that I want to say.

4. Colors

As a designer, I find it difficult when it comes to choosing the perfect color. When it happens, I need to explore how it will work together comprehensively.

5. Typeface / Fonts

Whether it’s serif, sans-serif, or handwriting, the typeface determines the overall look and feel of the project. Most of the time, I try to use Google fonts because of development reasons. (Font Pair is a fantastic tool to see how they look together) But if it’s not for the web, here is the list!

6. Mock ups

When it comes to showcasing your work, you have to make it look like it’s real. I found some decent websites that could help you with that.
