Fourdesire is a start-up company based in Taiwan. They build apps that could help you to have a healthy habit. They have three major habit builder apps: Fortune City, Plant Nanny, and Walkr.
The Fortune City makes you track on your expenses. When you type in how much you spent and where you spent, it creates a building. This app doesn’t help you to keep your budget; it’s the opposite. You would want to spend more to build a bigger city.
Plant Nanny helps you to keep track of drinking water. If you drink water and type in, that is the amount of water for your plant. This app might be useful for people who are looking for to keep track of how much they are drinking water per day.
Walkr is my favorite app. I’ve had this since 2016. Unlike Fortune City and Plant Nanny, you don’t have to type in anything. You carry your phone, and it tracks on how much you walk.
Here is how it works:
- Build a planet.
- Feed your planet by building tomato producing spaceship.
- Repeat.
How do steps are used?
- It’s the primary resource to boost up your planet. To upgrade your planet to produce more coins or resources, it takes about a couple of hours to twenty days.
- The number of steps is equal to energy, which can use in Epics and Social.
On the home screen, you can find:
Creature: Population on your planets, it controls the ranking (friends, region, league) you have to upgrade or link to satellite to increase the population.
Coins: It can be earned from planets, social, and epics. You have to feed your planet to get coins, as higher you go, it might take a day to accomplish a planet to product coin. But for the first few planets, it will take about several hours.
Food: It can only produced from DFRs.
Cubes: You can buy them, earn them from epics or watch ads.
Social Lab is where you can join to play with strangers. Because it takes too much time to upgrade your planet, you request people if they could donate their energy (walks) to my planet. They released a couple of years ago, and it gives you the motivation to walk more to donate energy to others.
Epics are a journey that can play 4 to 10 people. Anyone can create a room with 5,000 coins, and it may take about at least 40hrs to and max 182hrs to finish the journey. This epic consists of donating energy, food, coins, and resources from the planets. It varies by the different journey, and when it’s accomplished, a person can earn the percentage of how much they have involved finishing the Journey.
