No longer are we forced to squeeze into tiny pants

The ’90s Elaine look from Seinfeld is back!

For the past 20 years or so, the norm in women’s clothing design was to make everything thin, tight, and generally uncomfortable. Pockets have been relegated to decorative seams.

It seemed that clothing designers had an idea of how women’s bodies should fit into clothes, without regarding the physical form at all.

Low-rise jeans are a perfect example. Cut three inches below the waist line, they are set up to fail you on all sides.

May low-risers rest in peace. Forever.

Thankfully, loose, stylish, comfortable clothing (with pockets!) are coming back in full force. A quick Google search reveals a plethora of options, all providing forgiving waistlines. It’s truly a magical time.

So flowy, so comfortable.
