Wine is complex. It forges two opposites, life and death, into a concoction we have enjoyed for millennia. We grow the grape, we smash the grape, it bleeds a blood that when treated right, produces our beloved drink. And yet, in all of the differences of the ingredients and processes, they create a single solution.
Like a spider, Silk & Venom wines come together as a unified creation of things seemingly opposite. Our different handcrafted wines are our web in which we create, catch imaginations, drink, and show off. Silk & Venom models the spider’s dedication to its web — there is always something to make better, tend to, and arrange in order to reach perfection.

The brand.
A few adjectives used to describe Silk & Venom are dynamic, delicate, unique, and slightly macabre.

There are currently four wines that are part of the Silk & Venom family. Four wines inspired by four pairs of legs. Each wine label is unique and changes ever so slightly.
Torrontés.

Yielding a fresh floral and peach scent, the Torrontés flows like silk in the wind. It strings you along with a moderate acidity and finishes smoothly. Yes, she is light and airy, though she has a tendency to hurt the ones she loves.
Malbec.

A Malbec is an evolution of dark berry, fruit, and cocoa flavors. Swirling with depth, it takes time to understand the layers that the Malbec hides. Upon how long it has sat in its barrel it may ooze a tobacco finish.
Chardonnay.

Pear and fruit aroma intertwines with delicate citrus and living Jasmine. As light as the Chardonnay appears, it is intended to be a slow drink. Give into it’s light appeal but don’t let it fool you.
Bonarda.

Like its sister, Merlot, Bonarda has a tendency to dance along the line of dark and light. Fruity and smooth, its darkness is not so much a teller of its character. She is a taste of the lightness that a sad song carries.
