The Story of My Life

How would you describe your life in 100 words?

I was born where echoes of the past lay all around, woven into the land. Nights were frightening and cold as floorboards squeaked. I was a child here, but changes brought me to the mountain peaks.

I walked along the canyon floor, dragging pain and loss behind me. Sandstone walls reached up to heaven making me feel small against them.

At school there were books and lessons learned. A trip across the sea brought me to a land rich with color and culture, wealth and disparities.

These winding roads and paths less traveled have prepared me for a future that remains unknown.
