Urban Spacing Meets Modern Appeal

This week I had the honor to take a tour at Jen Lewin studio in Boulder, Colorado.

So here is a little background on Jen and what her and her amazing team mates do…Jen is known for her interesting large-scale interactive sculptures/fabrications that combine light, sound and motion to encourage community interaction. Her use of technology as a medium challenges popular conceptions of new media works and their limitations.

It seems very technology but what makes it so great is how raw and simple each design actually is.

She has took her pieces all over the world in the last fifteen years and is turning unused public spaces like parks and plazas into main stream locations and exhibits.
