What Trump will do to Design

Who cares?

Does it really matter what Trump thinks of design? No not really, but today we all woke up, maybe not felling the same, but still free to make the choice to design how we please.

We can’t get back to our work until put how we feel out there, and for all the negativity I didn’t feel like sharing my own disappointment. But before I could think about getting back to work I had to put how I’m feel down on paper.

I know I’m not the only one who feels drained by the election result, but moving forward is critical if we are going to live in a country we can be proud of. It doesn’t feel like we’re in control, but we can’t all give up. Giving up would mean everything we’ve been taught in our childhood is meaningless. That hope doesn’t exist, but we know even if we may not feel that way now it’s does exist. Its up to each of to hope again and to help others do the same.

We all have to pull together a work even harder to make our reality a reality we want to be a part of. We have to design better to try things that otherwise we might not think fall in the field of design.

We are all stressed, and sometimes that stress turns to anger which is evident with the protests in LA and other areas. But while the topic feel very reel in this moment we have four more years to go and we need to work hard and never forget to keep working. Don’t fling that anger at others because its a sign of how we got here.

How might we create a better place to live in? and how might we make sure our political systems work correctly? It’s doesn’t matter what Trump will do to design, because design will change Trump.
