Back in 2019, we organised a React conference the likes of which that had never been seen before in India.

React India is an international conference that provides a platform for developers to share and discuss their insight and experiences with React! It provided developers from India to meet, listen, and network with React Developers and Open Source Contributors from all around the world!

You will get to learn all the new things happening in React, React Native, Preact, Redux, GraphQL, and much more!

If this is the first you are hearing about React India, here is a highlight of what you missed at React India 2019!

React India 2019 Highlight

The event was such a success that we started working on the next version of the conference immediately!

But then life threw us a curveball (you know what I am talking about), and we had to suspend our plans for React India 2020.

But now it’s 2021 and we are starting to see the light at the end of this tunnel.

And so I say it again: React India is back!!

React India will be held as a two-day event from November 12, 2021. With an extra day for Workshops on November 11, 2021!

What’s different this time?

While things have started to settle down around the world, India is still going through the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

We had initially planned to host the conference this year in Mumbai. But to ensure everyone’s safety, we have decided to do this year’s conference completely remote!

What can you expect this year at React India?

One of the things that set React India apart from other conferences is that it allowed the Frontend and Fullstack developers to network with other developers from around the world. We are currently looking at different options that would still allow you to do that but from the safety of your homes.

But there is also a plus point of taking React India online: More Content! This year, we are planning to have way more technical workshops and talks.

Call for speakers

The CFP for React India Remote is now open. If you have something interesting to talk about React/React Native, GraphQL, TypeScript, or anything else, you can submit your talk here.

Call for sponsors

React India is a non-profit conference. That means we rely heavily on our sponsors to provide the best conference services to our attendees.

Conferences, especially one as big as React India are extremely expensive to produce. And while online conferences are not as expensive as offline ones, they still do require some expenses like buying a proper online platform that can support large numbers of attendees.

Sponsors are one of the main ways that we make sure that tickets do not get too pricy because of such expenses.

We are currently looking for sponsors for React India Remote. So if you or anyone you know is interested in partnering with us, please drop an email at react-india@geekabyte.tech

React India Remote is brought to you by Geekabyte. We have been organising various JavaScript and React workshops all over the country for the last 4 years.

React India is one of our biggest endeavors in helping Indian developers learn everything about React and also connect with their international peers.

Thank you so much for reading this post! Tickets for React India Remote will be available soon. I hope that you are just as excited about React India Remote as I am!
