A shareable guide and resource on how to talk about sexism

Sexism is thriving; we want to do something about it. Our designs are a tool to create dialogue between communities and to start grassroots movements starting with a simple question to spark curiosity. To achieve this, we have created informational designs along with stencils that can be used to display simple, yet effective, images to facilitate conversations surrounding the issues we face everyday with sexism.

What do you feel when seeing these images?

With each graphic, we wanted to highlight how sexism can be seen in mundane settings. Even more shockingly are the similarities in how sexism thrives globally, especially in countries with populist leaders. Often, we are so desensitized to the disparities we see that we don’t question it further. The goal of these infographics is to revive the way we see and experience the different faces of sexism and to think deeper on why it continues to exist. However, it doesn’t stop there.

Dig Deeper

We have created a platform to access conversations regarding how people are facing sexism in their communities through #speak360. This hashtag can be shared and implemented through various modes of social media, and will be used to shine a light on how global the issue is.

It’s your turn

Each person has a role within their community. For this reason, we have created five stencils that can be used to implement a live, tangible, and simplistic way to start the conversation wherever.
