The loud explosion put him into a temporary deafness. The rattling sounds of the short black hair girl from the TV echoed in his ears. The framed photos of lifetime achievements hanged on the wall is broken due the tremor followed by explosion. His room looked as usual, with some extra broken frames and vases.

“It seems like there is an unidentified object fallen into the city’s suburban aria which is now inaccessible due to the explosion. There are some similar unconfirmed incident happening in other part of the city…” the girl in the TV Continued “…some people conforms that they saw a giant moving object, which can be a UFO or an asteroid moving though the sky”

Somehow he know the truth. He know it’s coming. The wold is definitely going to end. But it’s not sure from where he got that thought. May be the fear of death or the fear of uncertainty. He was afraid for no reason or to be more specific for all the reason possibly a human can think of. Within the two hours of the explosion, he changed from what he was to what he never thought he would be. He analysed all the possible reasons for that explosion, he life from his childhood to the last cup of coffee he had while it happened. He remembered his grandmother talking to him about how the world will end based on her religious book. With her imagination filled the creative writing of the book, she gave him a realistic walk-through though the doomsday. Later when his young girlfriend enjoyed going to the science fiction movies, he was many times amazed and terrified with the way the world going to end.

Somehow he know that the world is going to end today and he decided to leave the house. He know that if the world is going to end today, he don’t want to die as a sad person. He want to full fill his bucket list before he dies. But he still don’t have a bucket list.

He open the drawer and took a piece of paper and started to write down his bucket list. At first he felt like there are more things to do before he is dead than what he had done while he was alive but soon he realized that he have only few like…

1. Meet new people.

2. Live fearless

3. Travel more

4. …

The sudden realization shocked him for a while. The he lean towards the balcony and looked at the dark thick black smoking coming from the spot hidden by the tick concrete buildings where the unidentified object is fallen. The road was filled with people who running towards the opposite side panicking. He decided to pack his bags and move from this madness.

“Maybe the world will end tomorrow” he talked to himself, “but I want to make that day count”

He took the small backpack he bought last summer, thinking that he could use it for camping trips — the camping trips which never happened. Then the tough part — packing the necessary things. His room was filled with “metrical possessions”. He loved shopping and he bought the things he need, might need and never need. But this is the trip of extreme risks and he don’t want any extra weights and he started to filter the products.

He took two pairs of shoes at first. But he soon realized that possibility of dying before he using the next one is more and it’s definite an extra weight. And of course one can’t possibly wear two shoes at a time.

His most thought part was the next one — how much dress he need. His cupboard was willed with dress for each occasion, days and purposes. But he don’t want them all. He decided to throw away the unwanted dress and he took to t-shirts, one pair of jeans and one jacket. Then he moved on to the food he decided to take a couple of fruits and bottle of water. The throw away the laptops and the mobile phone and decided to leave his comfortable hole and he walked towards the tide of thousands of scared people. He walked and disappeared into the crowd, walking slowly without any panic in his face, determined to enjoy each second of his life as much as he can and to die is peace.
