A Very Traumatic few days

Some of you may have noticed my absence over the last couple of days.
On Sunday I received news that a very good friend, instead of joining us for a drink while we watched the Arsenal and West Ham game, had been rushed to hospital with a suspected stroke. Later it was discovered to be a blood clot on his brain.
On Monday morning some builders cut though our WiFi cable. So, no internet or mobile network. We had been cut off from civilization as we know it.
However, power has been restored and I have a lot of reading and responding to do.
Even better news, my friend is responding well to treatment.
So now I am going to start work here again.
