After watching so many crime dramas and movies that portray undercover agents as heroes, one wonders about the reality of their lives and who truly understands their suffering.
I remember watching a YouTube video about the life of a real Hong Kong police officer living as an undercover agent. It is in Cantonese. I have done my best to produce it in English to share with you, and also to let us appreciate all undercover agents around the world for their hard work and sacrifices to keep us safe.

A superior approached a cadet (Chen) and asked him if he was interested in joining as an undercover agent. Having just graduated from police school, he was eager to show his dedication to the job and agreed.
He was then transferred to a special school for undercover agents to learn how to get close to the target person and the criminal gang, and to gather evidence of their crimes.
