Autumn arrives with crisp cool air
We sit on the porch and ponder
All the good things we have in life
Sipping cider as we wonder

Talking about what lies ahead
And sharing about the past
The flavorful aroma brings thoughts
Of times gone by too fast

The leaves are turning gold now
The sun sets in the west
A warming feeling fills my heart
To realize just how blessed

We have been throughout our lives
As we enter into this time
Of growing old in Autumn
Content and at our prime
