I found the details of his misery so interesting, I was thinking and typing about my cold and fever almost before I finished reading about his.
Busy work week
The clinic has been crazy. Ordinary crazy, not like “Holy Saturday Crazy.” (Nobody celebrates Good Friday in India — not enough Christians where I live? So it is a grand “let’s go visit the dentist!” weekend.)
Nasty new software that ate up time and delivered confusion
Then, we decided to introduce a new WiFi-dependent billing system that we hated, replaced it with WiFi-dependent software that we hated, and then threw out both for offline data entries on Google Forms within a week— and we charged ahead with our pen-and-paper bills.
Which is what we had in the beginning… plus a Google form we created months ago.
For reasons entirely unrelated to people’s teeth, we spent hours in the clinic and worked ourselves up into a tizzy.
