In a world that increasingly strives for comfort and easy solutions, we become soft.

Our need for comfort stems from laziness. It’s tempting to have everything handed to you without effort, but working for things is what builds character.

By lying on the sofa, watching TV, and eating instant ramen, we become more and more woeful, unwilling beings, capable of nothing but pity.

It may sound cruel, but this is the reality of today’s society. Everything is one click away, and we give up on our dreams because we’re too comfortable to move.

From obesity to political scandals, we become too soft to react and do anything. Why bother living when we can scroll our lives away on social media, living through others?

How pathetic.

Difficulties are crucial for finding solutions, learning to be resourceful and flexible, gaining life experience, and upgrading.

It’s essential to tackle difficult tasks yourself, to break every toxic habit, and to take your life into your own hands. Otherwise, you will lose it.

I’m not promoting toxic productivity or always being busy. Doing nothing is also important, as well as doing what you love. But don’t shy away from the difficult things, big or small — they will repay you with skills.

Don’t let your smart appliances make you stupid. Don’t let them use you as a tool.

Let your tools be just tools, and don’t let them live your life because you are too comfortable to live.

This is a call to action for anyone who feels like they’re wasting their life. Understanding and accepting this is the first step; taking action is the second and final step.

Go live your life, enjoy both the nice and the difficult things, and remember: struggling with riddles makes you a stronger solver!

If you’ve reached the end, thank you! Your support means a lot. Feel free to drop a comment and share your thoughts — let’s chit-chat about anything you wish! :)
