I’ve always been enthralled with castles and ruins with their rich history and culture. For me, having the opportunity to see the Dunrobin Castle & Gardens was a dream come true.

Dunrobin Castle is the historic home of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland. The entrance ticket for the castle was 14.5 pounds for adults.

The castle looked magnificent and stunning with its vast garden. We decided to explore the interiors of the castle first. Our tour began at the main staircase, leading to the staterooms on the first floor. These included:

Dining Room

It contained the entire set of intricately arranged family Georgian and Victorian silver crockery on a sizable dining table. The interiors of the room also looked magnificent and sophisticated.
