From Playgrounds to Battlegrounds
The Battle of Creators.
When we were kids with endless possibilities, we created worlds and lived inside them. We made up stories and took on the lead roles, thus becoming kings and queens, knights and pirates.
We read stories of heroes and mythical creatures, and then with friends, we recreated the plots. We were the actors, the musicians, the scriptwriters, but most of all, we were our roles.
We lived millions of lives in just one, we were the artists who would never die, with infinite possibilities in an infinite life that would forever live through games and stories.
We were the creators of the destiny we would follow, so big, brave, powerful, and hopeful. And as we grew up, our hearts never followed the changes of time.
We remained the artists we always were, full of desire for things beyond daily life, full of adventures and passion for creating, full of hope for something bigger and better.
But somewhere in between, society tried to convince us that creating is not a real job, that we should wear our suits and dress for the jobs we want.
Thankfully, I never got rid of my pirate costume, and thankfully, you kept your knight clothes, the crown, and the king’s sword, and we jumped into battle once more.
We are the artists we always were, only now our weapons are a bit different. We fight misery with pens and brushes, with music and dances, and with theatre acts. Forever the heroes we once were, fighting the darkness again with beauty and light.
