My dad offered my daughter a sixteenth birthday gift. He asked her to pick anything she liked.

Glossing over the fact that neither my brother nor I received such an offer from our dad on our sixteenth birthdays, I’ll cut straight to the chase — my daughter picked makeup.

She had a ball, picking out her favorite brands on an Indian website that sells makeup products exclusively.

They do not sell groceries, apparel, furnishings, or luggage. They sell only makeup.

I didn’t know they sold enough kinds of makeup to have a website, but they do.

One of the products came yesterday, and the rest arrived today in a big bunch.
