Poetry
State of the Union Address
Beautiful that anyone feels sympathetic
While our universities broadcast pathetic
Land of our gullible patsy-filled nation
Drowning in fake news and mis-information
Remembering fondly a simpler time
Peaceful protests were righteous, not organized crime
If we continue to fuel today’s dark puppeteers
Say goodbye to your bacon-porn-bikinis-wine-beer
State of the Union Address
Desire tomorrow’s freedom success?
Together let’s handle this chaotic mess
Lost visibility spreading like fire
Many confused about who to admire
If freedom’s future is our children
Must stop failing intelligent education
Kind people targeted for feeling humanely
Then drowning by swallowing brainwash insanely
Not everyone’s heart is in the right place
Discriminate, not discrimination. Choose sunshine and grace.
State of the Union Address
If we want tomorrow’s freedom success
Together let’s handle this chaotic mess
Evil spreads seeds and harsh weeds are planted
Freedom’s gift we cannot take for granted
Amber waves of grain cannot thrive
If our kids worship those who don’t want us alive
