Have you ever played the game of snakes and ladders in your childhood?

I remember playing it, enjoying a lot.

It’s such a thrill to throw the dice, hoping for a number that will send you climbing up the ladder, skipping ahead several steps at once. There are so many ladders in the game , each one holds the promise of progress, some taking you a little higher, some get you close to victory, and some shoot you straight to the top.

But then there are those sneaky snakes, lurking to bite and send you tumbling back, undoing all your progress. Sometimes, you end up right back where you started.

As children we don’t realise the significance of this game as we play for the sake of fun and enjoy other person losing the game. Our life resonates a lot with this game.

Every moment, we’re rolling the dice with our actions. We work hard, putting in all our effort, but sometimes we wonder why we’re not reaching our goals or getting the success we deserve. We fail to realize where our dice went wrong.

In our day-to-day lives, there are many little incidents that might seem insignificant, but the way we deal with them can have a big impact in our journey.

We actually operate from the patterns deeply ingrained in our subconscious mind, without realising that how they can have huge impact on the outcomes we want to achieve.

We forget that every number on the dice matters – big or small, as they have the power to either lift us up or bring us down.

We encounter countless situations and people every day, and we never know which small incident might derail our progress. A conflict with family, a disagreement at work, a health issue, or even just bad weather can throw us off course. Our energy gets affected by negative thinking, disrupting our path to success. Even if we don’t react out loud, still our thoughts and feelings matter if they are putting us down.

As Rhonda Byrne writes in “The Magic,” for every complaint, you take ten steps back. It’s a principle described in ancient scriptures and by great leaders throughout the history.

On the other hand feeling positive snd grateful for any adverse situation whether big or small can attract you the life of your dreams and get you what you want.

We forget that every number on the dice matters – big or small, as they have the power to either lift us up or bring us down.

There are countless stories of people who went from rags to riches overnight – winning lotteries and game shows, becoming millionaire out of nowhere. Few days back they were unable to meet their basic needs but now they are enjoying all the luxuries of life.

There are people coming from remote areas suddenly getting lots of fame and recognition worldwide in such a short span of time by showcasing their talents be it in the field of singing, dancing, acting , painting etc. on TV shows. These unknown people become stars and a known personality in just a matter of few days or weeks.

You might think destiny favored them, but the truth is, destiny favors those who favor themselves first.

You never know how many snakes they’ve been bitten by before they found that one ladder to success.

But they did not focus on their scars caused by snake bites or failures but remained positive and patient for their goal. They refused to succumb to despair no matter how many setbacks they faced.

They keep doing efforts even with the lack of resources, and always be optimistic about their destiny.

Eventually the universe rewards them with a ladder to success out of nowhere.

So, let’s keep rolling our dice, focusing on our goals, and staying positive no matter how many snakes we encounter along the way.
