Writing on Medium, just like any other platform can be quite challenging, especially if you are just starting.

I know it from my experience

I know a friend who started writing on Medium as well

He quit

Why?

Comparing yourself to others is like running a race with a different destination, that’s what he did.

Some people progress faster than others and reach their goals faster. As a result of comparing you feel like you want to quit writing thinking you’re just not good enough.

“Comparing your bad with their good doesn’t make any sense.”

There is just you vs past you in this competitive journey.

Try to be better than your past self each day, progressing being consistent and never giving up.

Thanks For Reading till the end.
