Isreal Lied. What Was Not Told About The 7 October Attack
They lied and committed massacres in Gaza under western support
This is the 14th day since the escalation erupted. The world is focused on condemning Hamas while ignoring the massacres occurring in Gaza including the most considerably safe places like hospitals and UN institutions like UNRWA.
Israel and its allies from the West chose to follow their propaganda, forcing their narrative, and acting accordingly.
While Benjamin Netanyahu and the US are lying about Hamas beheading and burning ‘Jewish’ babies with unconfirmed reports — which were dismissed later — Israel is creating genocides in Gaza with their air strikes and wiping the Gazan sectors block by block, with internationally prohibited weapons like the white phosphorous.
Israel chose to treat all the Gazans as Hamas. and the West chose to back them unconditionally with unlimited financial, political, arms, and intelligence support.
While banning the Palestinian story and the real-time media coverage of the Israeli crimes, and promoting their propaganda instead. Yet the situation didn’t get worse in Gaza alone, but the in West Bank as well.
This is not a war against Hamas, this is a war and an attempt to create a new Palestinian catastrophe.
Let’s discuss the other side of the story, the story they don’t want you to hear, the story of the victims living there. And let's reconnect the dots so we understand why the recent conflict happened.
A Little Reminder about the Israel — Palestine Issue
Israel is an alien entity founded over the land of other people for the last 75 years. The land in which these people lived and settled from their very first ancestor till this generation.
The land which was propagated falsely as the ‘A land without a people for a people without a land’ was a land of civilized, educated, historic, traditional, and indigenous people — the Arabs.
Palestinians are occupied and Israel is the occupier.
The only piece of land that’s still colonized since the end of the First World War until this day is Palestine. And it’s the right of the occupied to fight for their freedom until they obtain the right to live peacefully and freely.
After 75 years of occupation, the historic Palestine map which was home to Arabs has shrunk to contain only the Gaza Strip — which is considered the world’s biggest prison as Israel has sieged it for the last 16 years — And the West Bank in which about 60% is confiscated for settlements.

Before The 7th of October
The OCHA — United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs — released the civil protection report on 18 September, reporting the number of crimes committed by Israeli forces for the previous years until the day of its release.
In the previous 10 months, 212 Palestinians were killed — including 38 children — in the West Bank and Gaza Strip by the Israeli forces, while 7829 were injured, 2642 were detained, 1129 were evacuated, and 713 civil homes were demolished.
This is not only done by the IDF, but the settlers' assault — who are armed — on Palestinians and their homes reached 798 assaults. Let’s not forget the 5250 Palestinian hostages by Israel, which include women and children.
Not only this, but the provocation against the Muslims by attacking and storming the worshippers in one of their holiest places, Al Aqsa mosque, insulting the prophet Mohammad, and spitting toward Christians and churches by the Israeli forces and settlers have increased in recent weeks.
On the political level, the radical statements of the Israeli government's ministers like Benjamin Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich against the Palestinians didn’t stop.
Such as inciting the settlers against the Palestinians in the West Bank, the Palestinian hostages by Israel, and denying the Palestinian state as of the picture the prime minister demonstrated in the UN excluding the Palestinian territories.
The Palestinian Authority asked for international protection force against the IDF and the settlers multiple times, yet no implication occurred.
These aggressive actions including the accumulated ones against the Palestinians for years on day to day basis from oppression and assault led to what’s happening today.
The Israeli Propaganda
Killing civilians from either side must be condemned.
However, the Israeli government took advantage of the 7th October attack and changed its narrative with unapproved events to demonise Hamas and react against all the Palestinians accordingly.
The 7th October attack resulted from years of the occupier’s oppression. Israel’s claims that Hamas had done several horrific actions during the attack such as beheading Israeli children were unconfirmed and later declined by the Media.
They also claimed that Hamas had burnt a baby which was denied and unapproved later. Also, not a single confirmed report was released about rape occurred.
On the other hand, Hamas released videos showing their good intentions with the children and women during the war:
Similar behaviour was also narrated by an Israeli woman who witnessed the attack about how the Hamas fighters treated her and her children when they captured her:
According to a Hamas official, speaking to Al Jazeera, the Qasam fighters were told not to kill civilians and only engage with the Israeli soldiers and armed ones. Yet some Qassam fighters were forced to clash with some security guards and gunmen in the settlements, which led to civilian deaths.
This was also stated by a witnessed Israeli woman, speaking to an Israeli channel:
In another statement by Hamas officials, the hostages were taken to create a prisoner exchange between the Palestinian and Israeli hostages.
Whatever the incidents happened, Israel took advantage of sharing unconfirmed claims to react against all the Palestinians, not Hamas.
Israel is fighting Palestinians, innocent civilians from children and women, not Hamas.
It has been 14 days since Israel created horrific, live-streamed war crimes in Gaza under unconditional support and protection by the US and the EU.
Describing Terrorism

For the last 14 days, Israel has been creating massacres in the Gaza Strip, they didn’t leave a safe place that wasn’t bombarded. Including the UN institutions like the UNRWA schools and warehouse. Hospitals, Ambulances and civil defence were bombarded as well.
They are wiping residential sectors block by block.
Even the bakeries where people stand in queues to get bread, were bombed.
They killed children and innocent families:
Israel forced the Gazans residing in the north to evacuate to the south so they would stay “safe”, and this is what happened:
They even bombarded the Ahli Arab Hospital, using a weapon claimed to be MK-84 — which was also stated by an Al-Jazeera journalist describing the situation of how hundreds of civilians including children and women turned to pieces. — The thing which none of the Palestinian militant groups have.
This and many more war crimes are to be mentioned, are done every hour right now on the Gaza strip, causing ‘burned’ and ‘beheaded’ children. Made no place safe in Gaza including the international institutions that are recognized to be not engaged in any part of the current conflict.
At the moment of writing this article, almost 4,000 Palestinian deaths and over 12000 injuries in Gaza were caused by the Israeli air strikes. The unofficial numbers are much higher as many civilians are still under the rubble due to the intensive air strikes, the lack of ambulances and limited machinery and gas supplies.
Today, the Greek Orthodox Gaza church was bombarded as well.
The number of Israeli bombs dropped on the Gaza Strip in the previous days equates to a quarter of a nuclear bomb. On the other hand, until this moment about 81 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank by the Israeli forces as they stormed several arab villages and camps.
The Political Bias
With all of what was mentioned in this article. There is still a complete political and media bias with the Israeli attack describing it as ‘the right of self-defence’.
While the occupier has no right to self-defence when the war is over an occupied land, this massacre didn’t attack Hamas but the Palestinian citizens.
It’s clear that Israel is taking Hamas as a cover to continue the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from both the Gaza Strip — as the voices were raised to kick the Gazans to Sinai in Egypt. — and the West Bank — where Hamas’s governing does not exist.
Israel was not blamed nor condemned by the US or other allies for any massacre they did in the Gaza Strip. They didn’t even stand for helping the Gazans with a humanitarian pause to allow aid to enter the Strip.
Astonishingly, even the UN institutions didn’t blame Israel for their aggression against their properties — like the UNRWA schools — and war crimes done against ambulances and hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Israel’s allies like the US, UK, and Germany have announced their complete support of Israel’s right to self-defence, and some are committed to helping it with unconditional armed, financial, and intelligence support.
“The state of Israel was born to be a safe place for the Jewish people of the world,” Mr. Biden said. “That’s why it was born. I’ve long said if Israel didn’t exist, we’d have to invent it. While it may not feel that way today, Israel must again be a safe place for the Jewish people. And I promise you, we’re going to do everything in our power to make sure it will be. Seventy-five years ago, just 11 minutes after its founding, President Harry S. Truman and the United States of America became the first nation to recognize Israel. We’ve stood by your side ever since. We’re going to stand by your side now.”

The US president, Joe Biden, has spoken about the American-Israeli hostages that some of them joined the Israeli forces but didn’t interfere to protect the Palestinian-American citizens who were killed in Gaza.
On the other side, some of the allies banned wearing the Palestinian scarf / Kufiya, which is a part of the Arabic and Palestinian traditions and customs, and raising the Palestinian flag as in the UK and Germany.
Which questions the freedom of speech and democracy been promoted for centuries there.
Media Discrimination & Hypocrisy
The media coverage particularly in the West took its side as well. News media like CNN, BBC and many other Western media don’t cover what’s happening in Gaza. At the same time, they promote the Israeli propaganda against the Palestinian narrative.
This didn’t happen just in the current political conflict but throughout the years the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Social media is playing its part as well, by banning and restricting user accounts that attempt to share posts about what’s going on in Gaza and Palestine.
Recently, The Quds News, one of the popular Palestinian local news pages that was followed by over eight million users was removed by Facebook. Similar complaints from individual users on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook who faced a total or shadow ban for sharing content about the Palestinian case.
These social media platforms created algorithms that would delete a post or a user account if he shared a post that contained certain Arabic words like فلسطي_ني / Palestinian, Resistance / الم_قاومة, Mertyr / ش_هيد and many more.
Which forces them to either change the characters of those suspected words or use different platforms like Telegram.

Most news media coverage of the Palestinian—Israeli situation in real-time, which inspects the situation of the Gazan people is Al Jazeera Arabic. Al Jazeera English is doing a better job than the rest of non-Arabic speaking media but still mostly covers headlines compared to what’s streamed on the Arabic-speaking news channel.
What Makes Peace?
The only solution is to recognise Palestine as an occupied land and realise that Palestinians are struggling and being oppressed by an occupier and act regarding it.
The only solution comes when the international community puts an end to the war crimes committed by Israel and imposes the law against it. The only solution comes when the Palestinians obtain their freedom as any other people who obtained their rights from the colonizer.
