These are screenshots of three different articles I read recently.

An article from onstartups.com
A Paul Graham Essay
An article from Open Forum Blog.

Notice any similarities?

FIRST, they all have some highlighted passages and a small contextual popup like following.

SECOND, they all are NOT Medium articles. Many articles on Medium.com have such highlights but above articles are published on their own domains using their own publishing software.

But what are these highlights?

Well, they all are active conversations on ReadBoard started by users of ReadBoard.

If you click on the popup, you will be taken directly to the respective conversation on ReadBoard.

Does that mean that I can know what conversations are happening on random web articles?

Hell yes, if you have the ReadBoard Extension installed in your Chrome browser. You too can experience the serendipity of encountering such conversations on the Web. How cool is that?

This is cool for many reasons.

FIRST, you don’t have to use article’s own commenting module to start a conversation. Many of them don’t have a commenting option anymore.

SECOND, you can start a conversation on any part of the article with people you know i.e. more meaningful and contextual conversations.

THIRD, all your conversations on various web articles remain at one location i.e. on ReadBoard.io. You don’t lose them anymore and they are not scattered across various channels such as Emails, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

FOURTH, you get to experience the serendipity of encountering interesting conversations on the web articles you are reading right now.

FIFTH, you meet like-minded people on these conversations.

I believe this feature is going to be a GAME CHANGER and further strengthens my belief about “Why ReadBoard will change the way you converse on the Web?”

So go ahead and download ReadBoard’s Chrome Extension and experience magical serendipity on the Web.

UPDATE: ReadBoard is open for all since mid-July 2016 and becoming more awesome everyday because of people like you. Thanks :)
